BMATWT 220 - Introduction to CAD
in Construction and Architecture
NEWS:
Great News: A second session of this
course will be offered in Spring 2009 at the same time. At
this point, there are no more spots available in the fall
class. Please plan on registering for the spring class.
Software: If you have a laptop, then you
can already install the CAD software we'll be using. Go to students.autodesk.com and
download a free 1-year license of AutoCAD Architecture (We'll
just use AutoCAD, this version is a bit bigger). Also go
to sketchup.google.com and
download the free version 6 of SketchUp.
SPARK Plug: If you are registered for the
course, go to the SPARK
site (link is in the left menu)
and start looking at some of the content. There is even
a discussion
forum for software installation issues.
