Assignment 2- E-Commerce in the Building Materials Industry

Due Thursday 9/21

Please submit all assignments at the start of class.

You were assigned in class a particular type of E-Commerce application to investigate

  • B2C - Last Name begins A- H
  • B2B - Last Name begins I - M
  • C2C - Last Name begins N - R
  • C2B - Last Name begins S - Z

1) Use a search engine, or other method (for example scanning through trade journals) to locate an example of the type of application you were assigned.

2) Review the e-commerce example by exploring the relevant website, and referring to the material presented in Chapter 3 of the text.

3) Describe what type of Marketing the firm or organization employs

4) Determine what sources of E-Commerce revenue the organization takes advantage of:
