Assignment 4 - Marketing to Gen Y

From the Reading (Online and handed out in class) “Marketing to Millennials: Generation Y”

1) About how old are Gen Yers?

 

2) Can you give a characteristic of Gen Yers? What are they like?

 

3) The author states Gen Yers consider: Cheap cost, good quality, fast service and an “experience” when thinking about a purchase. Can you suggest a product/service that meets this test?

 

4) You are marketing cellulose insulation, made from recycled paper, to a Gen Y audience. Propose a marketing message for your product that speaks to their buying behavior and their “eco-conciousness” talk about both product & price considerations.
