From the US Census Website you can find Massachusetts Demographic Data, from the 2006 ACS Demographic and Housing statistics.

Select: American Community Survey

Select: 2006 ACS Data Products, American Fact Finder

Select: Fast Access to Information, select a State, Massachusetts

Select: Scroll down to ACS Demographic Estimates, Select Show More

Use the following file: MA_2000_Census.rtf

 

From this Data:

1) From this data, (you may have to combine some line items) Find the totals and Rank Order (Highest population to lowest population) the following age brackets.

15 - 24 years, 25 - 34 years, 35 - 44 years, 45- 54 years, 55 - 64 years.

2) In terms of the market for housing, which of these market segments seems most attractive to you and Why?

3) Choose a "product", housing or otherwise, to market to the 55 - 64 year age bracket. Describe the product/service/idea and why it would be attractive/needed/ or wanted by this age bracket.
