You are to research and write (500 words) an essay describing the role of blogs in the Construction or Building materials industry.

Wikipedia defines blogs as follows: "weblog (usually shortened to blog, but occasionally spelled web log) is a web-based publication consisting primarily of periodic articles (normally in reverse chronological order). "

First choose a specific segment of industry that you will research relative to blogs: Building Materials, Construction, Architecture, Wood Science...(other industries can be acceptable upon approval of the instructor)
What blogs exist for that industry sector?
Are some more popular than others?
Describe the content and usefulness of some of these blogs.
Who are the intended audience?
What are the benefits of visiting the blog?
Do you feel that this technology is valuable to particular businesses in the building materials industry?
