If you gave us your permission to post your grades by student ID number, you can find your final exam and course grades here. If you didn’t give us permission, you’ll have to wait until course grades appear on SPIRE after January 9. Please don’t email us asking for your grades; because there are so many students in the class, we cannot respond to such requests.

Any remaining papers or homework assignments will be available for pick-up from a box in the Linguistics Department, 226 South College. This material will be discarded after February 28.

Please don’t email us asking for an explanation of your grade. All grades were calculated using the formula in the course syllabus. Exams, homework assignments, and attendance are all factored into your grade, according to this formula. An excess absence or a missing homework assignment can pull your grade down a lot.

Please don’t email us asking whether there is any way of improving your grade. We cannot offer additional work or change grades after the semester has ended. If your final average came close to the next grade up, you have already been given the benefit of the doubt.
