ReadingsReading assignments in this course come from three sources The textbook: Wayne C. Both, Gregory G. Colomb, and Joseph M. Williams, The Craft of Research 2nd edition (2003). Don't buy a used copy of the first edition (1999); the authors made significant changes that produced a much better second edition. Additional readings available on this site (for fall 2006, the earlier readings are assembled in a coursepacket). Websites and library resources students will find on their own to complete the particular writing assignments. See the resources page for hints on where to start searching.
