Term Paper
A term paper, limited to 10 double-spaced pages, is optional for most students, but students taking this course for Honors credit must submit the term paper as part of their regular course requirements. It must be submitted no later than December 22, the last day of the semester. The term paper should be based on library research, and it should deal with an area of literature (theory and research) relevant to some aspect of persuasion covered in the course. It should contain an introduction, describing the questions that will be addressed; a review of the relevant literature, describing the major theories and research findings; and a conclusion section which tries to answer the questions raised in the introduction.

In terms of style, the paper should follow APA guidelines for manuscript preparation:
